We are a multi-award-winning digital payment platform in the automotive industry. Working with more than 4,000 automotive retailers, we help drivers pay for car expenses, accessories, and other services with various payment options.

Bumper is a fast-growing scale of payments, and we're excited to continue building on our growth by recently completing a successful Series B funding round.

We have our head office at Sheffield City Centre in the UK and an additional office in London. We recently brought together retailers in Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands and are planning to expand further into Europe and beyond.

Our Engineering Team is located in our office in Ankara, Turkey. We are looking for a great Senior Frontend Developer who will join this amazing team.

As our new Senior Frontend Developer, you report directly to the Chief Technology Officer. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems to support the functionality and scalability of our platform.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with relevant teams to design and develop frontend solutions that improve user experience and drive business goals,

• Leading the implementation of responsive and scalable frontend applications using React and modern web technologies,

• Designing efficient, re-usable frontend systems and components that facilitate rapid development and iteration,

• Collaborating with UX/UI designers to transform design mockups and prototypes into functional user interfaces,

• Conducting code reviews and ensuring coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines are followed,

• Following frontend trends and best practices and ensuring their adoption within the team,

• Mentoring young engineers by encouraging a culture of continuous learning and growth within the organization,

Qualifications

• Having a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field,

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development with a strong focus on web applications,

• General E2E and Unit testing experience,

• High-level proficiency in React and Next frameworks,

• A solid understanding of web technologies, including mastery of the latest JavaScript standards and related technologies such as RESTful APIs.

• Superior command of Git and agile development methodologies,

• Have the ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels.
